Our team makes regular stops at new home sites throughout the Woodbridge VA area to help give our buyer clients the latest in choices for their new homes. Recently I stopped in at Mason's Landing just off Hoadley Road to get an update. My clients were one of the early purchasers in the neighborhood and they were lucky.

In addition the incentives the builder is offering has changed.  No longer a free finished basement and less in closing cost assistance. They purchased the largest model in the neighborhood with loads of upgrades for a cost of $500,000. Today priced with the same features the home would be $540,000. This is the same scenario we are seeing at multiple sites in Woodbridge.

With resale inventory down builders are seizing on the opportunity to get stalled projects back on track. Marina Landing in Belmont Bay is getting ready to break ground on 12 new waterfront townhouses and the new model homes in Potomac Shores will be open in the next 30 days. Builders who are finishing out projects have new homes ready for immediate delivery as well.

Debbie I was sitting in the sales office with one of my clients and the flyer came in for a price increase.  Fortunately we wre down to the last T&C's.  Their home will be ready in August-September timeframe.
