This is a great chance to make a difference for our troops.  Check out the contest below but more important than the contest is to remember to express your appreciation to our service men and women everyday for their dedication to keep our country free.

How would you like to honor our troops and have the opportunity to win a pair of incredibly awesome boots at the same time?!?!  The SAME boots our men and women of the United States military wear!

Two contests start TODAY!

Don't believe these boots are "rocking hot"?  Check out how they look on the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders:

As a special way to honor our military and to get the word out in AR about the Boot Campaign,  I will be giving away a pair of these boots TOMORROW to the person who:

#1 - Reblogs this post; and

#2 Has the most comments to THIS POST- (each comment has to be about honoring our troops). This contest will end at 11:00 a.m. central time on Tuesday, July 5, 2011.

Oh - and if you are not a football fan?  Well, how about politics?  Check out Rick Perry, Governor of Texas:

Oh - you are not into football or politics?  Well, maybe you are a little bit country.....

How about the Sons of Anarchy?

Oh - you are not into sports, politics,  country or television?  Well, how about my family - here's a picture of several of my grandchildren - they all have their boots on!

The motto of the Boot Campaign is "When They Come Back, We Give Back".  We can NEVER repay the men and woman of the United States military for their service - but we can do SOMETHING to help our wounded warriors coming back.   Because the majority of the clients of our mortgage loan office are military clients, I, together with my team, have seen first hand, the wounds that war can inflict on human lives, whether it be loss of life, loss of limb, loss of family, or for some - loss of peace.

Because of this, we have always aspired  to be a team that gives BACK all that we can to those who have given so much - and many who have lost so much.  Several months ago, I became involved this  non-profit organization - The Boot Campaign

I invite you to click the link below to watch a short video which tells of our mission to purchase 365 pairs of combat boots in 2011 and encourage other "SUITS" - or business professionals - to join with us and GET YOUR BOOTS ON!

Suits in Boots - Pay it Back

It is an HONOR to be a part of the Boot Campaign - $25.00 of every purchase goes to projects supporting our wounded warriors. It seems as if it really is the very LEAST we can do.  And no - we are NOT "paying it forward". We are in a very small way - in the only way we know at this time -  attempting to "pay it back."

This sounds like a wonderful campaign to give back to our troops.  My daughter is a member of Soldiers Angels and sends care packages regularly, but we're always on the look-out for ways to say thanks to the men and women in uniform.
