Who Wants To Drive To Your Neighbors When You Can Paddle There Instead-Montclair in Dumfries VA

If you live in the Montclair neighborhood in Dumfries VA you can leave your car at home and paddle across the 107 acre lake to visit with your neighbors.  Montclair is one of a handful of neighborhoods in Northern Virginia that offers a private lake and beaches for residents to enjoy.

With over 5200 homes Monclair is one of the larger planned communities in the area but with the mature trees and large lots you don't feel as if you are in a typical planned community.  The community offers tennis courts, multiple tot lots and the lake or you can join the Montclair County Club (a private club) for golf and indoor tennis.

Take a quick tour of the neighborhood and view the available homes for sale in Montclair.

Cindy

Montclair in Prince Williams County Virginia looks like a great place to call home.

Good luck and success.

Cindy, that sounds like it's even better exercise that running up and down the stairs in 4-story Georgetown Victorians!

We lived in a gorgeous home in Montclair from '98-2001.  We loved it and we had a boat.  We moved to get closer to my husband's work.

Cindy, from the headlines, I was expecting another area to be flooded.  Sounds like a great place to live.

Lenn-it is.  I have someone looking for a rental and they said I want a neighborhood where I can kayak.  Ah ha!

Rob-thank you.  Though it is a big planned community you don't feel overwhelmed with the trees and lake.

Patricia-wouldn't it be nice to just spend a few hours paddling on the lake?  My kind of a relaxing afternoon.

Kay-today's news on the Mississippi flooding do mean that there are a lot of families paddling not for fun but for survival.  My thoughts go out to them.
