Normally my posts on Belmont Bay are with the sun shining and neighbors out enjoying the surroundings. Today I could only find two other people who were crazy enough to be out walking in the snow and cold.
No one can accuse me of being a fair weather agent. The snow continues to fall and has gotten heavier since I was out. The news has nicked named this storm a "snowpocalypse" which certainly has a better sound to it than the Blizzard of 2009. Hope you are staying warm today.

Rita-the weather has gotten progessively worse as the day has gone on. But you know snow storms well in your part of the country.

Li-December storms are rare here. I have photos from the last "record" breaker in 1962 that I'm going to scan and post.

Cindy: Haven't had a chance to go out and take still pictures, let alone a video. Must be one of the luxuries of living in a condo---no shoveling. I really miss condo living today.

Chris Ann-I'll admit today is one day when condo living is well worth it. Even better is that my heat isn't even on. This building is so well insulated that I'm toasty in a short sleeve shirt.

Cindy, in Lewisburg WV, we have over a foot of snow and it is still snowing...a winter wonderland for sure.

Rebecca-I'll be curious as to what our final total is. I hunkered down for the afternoon catching up on paperwork. I'm sure we have over 12 inches of nice powdery snow. Wish I was near a ski slope.
