In a market full of short sales and foreclosures working with regular sales is a treat. Yesterday we put the SOLD sign in the yard of this home in the Terra Grande neighborhood of West Springfield. The owner had the home on the market with another real estate agent for close to one year when the Cindy Jones team took it over.
After giving the owner some suggestions on staging, a few additional fix-ups and pricing the home went back on the market. In less than three weeks and with a ton of showings the owner accepted a contract from a young couple using their VA benefits to buy the home.
The buyer's agent and I had crossed paths before but never had the chance to work a deal all the way through. There were some issues with decks and fencing that needed to be resolved but by working together we were able to get it to the closing table. The former owner is on their way to live closer to their family in NY and the new buyers have the painters ready to give it their personal touch.
If you are thinking of selling your home in Springfield this year give the Cindy Jones team a call at 703-346-2213. Let's talk about how we can help you be the next owner in Springfield to put the SOLD sign in your yard.

Hi Cindy
That calls for a big congratulations.
Good luck and success.
Lou Ludwig
Congratulations! That is not an easy task in this market!
Thumbs up, Cindy!
Cindy - Being the second agent can definitely make for a quicker transaction. Good job on getting the home SOLD.
Lou-we have to love it when the end is a win/win for everyone.
JIm-sometimes if cooler heads prevail then the final result is sweet!
Ken-thanks for the kudos. The not fighting with the lender is probably the #1 thing in this market. Though it does seem that "fighting" with the appraisers is going to soon become a top concern for many of us.
Laura-I'm just glad they selected me to be part of their team to get the home sold. They were worn out by the time I took over. Hopefully their new home close to family will bring them lots of joy.
